This 2003 BMW 325xi Sport Wagon was acquired by the seller in 2024 and fitted with an E83 X3–sourced 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six and six-speed manual transmission as well as a transfer case, subframes, and brakes from an E46 330xi as part of a build completed in 2025. Finished in Alpine White over black upholstery, the car features M-Tech 1 front bumper and side skirts and rides on 17″ BMW Style 68 alloy wheels. Inside, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats are accompanied by an Eonon 9″ head unit connected to a backup camera as well as Harman Kardon and BavAuto stereo components. Further equipment includes xenon headlights and yellow-lens fog lights along with a custom ECU tune and aftermarket stainless-steel headers. This modified E46 325xi Sport Wagon is now offered with spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the name of the seller and their father.

The car left the factory finished in Alpine White and underwent rust repair before being fitted with an M-Tech 1 front bumper and side skirts that were painted to match the body under current ownership. Self-leveling xenon headlights with LED high-beam bulbs are paired with yellow-lens fog lights up front and are accompanied by clear corner and side-marker lights along with Euro-look taillights. Mismatched tint film has been applied to the windows, and the seller notes various rust spots, dings, and dents around the vehicle. The Carfax report lists an accident in December 2004.

The 17″ BMW Style 68 alloy wheels are mounted with a mix of Michelin and Continental tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. The front control arms were replaced as part of the build.

The cabin features retrofitted heated and power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in black leather as well as a split-folding rear bench trimmed in black leatherette. The headliner and pillars are covered in microsuede, which extends to the shift boot. Various interior trim pieces have been wrapped in faux carbon-fiber. The installed Eonon 9″ head unit is connected to a backup camera. The stereo is said to feature a Harman Kardon amplifier and passenger-side tweeter, while the rest of the speakers have been replaced with BavSound units. Retained factory equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, and a sunroof.

The multifunction steering wheel fronts a replacement gauge cluster sourced from an E46 330Ci featuring a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and instant fuel economy. The digital odometer indicates 175k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The factory 2.5-liter M54B25 inline-six and GM-sourced A5S390R five-speed automatic transmission were replaced with an E83 X3–sourced 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six and GS6X37BZ six-speed manual transmission. The VANOS system was rebuilt using a kit from Race German, the DISA unit was upgraded with components from German Auto Solutions, and a Graf water pump was installed in the course of the project. The engine is fitted with aftermarket stainless-steel headers, and the ECU has been tuned by the seller.

The seller tells us that the transfer case, front and rear subframes, and disc brakes have been replaced with units sourced from an E46 330xi. Further modifications are said to include an ClutchMax chromoly flywheel and clutch kit as well as polyurethane rear subframe bushings. A close-up view of the underside can be seen in a video below.
