This 1981 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce underwent a multi-year refurbishment under previous ownership and was acquired by the current owner in 2015. Finished in Rosso over Biscuit leather, the car is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a tan soft top as well as SPICA mechanical fuel injection, a Darstan tubular header, a Magnaflow muffler, KYB dampers, disc brakes, 14″ Campagnolo magnesium wheels, headlight covers, black bumpers, a cabin heater, a VG Hellebore steering wheel, and power windows. This Spider is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment in New Jersey with parts and service invoices and a clean Maryland title.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork was refinished under previous ownership in Rosso (538) and features a replacement tan soft top. Exterior details include headlight covers, dual side mirrors, black bumpers, and a central exhaust outlet with a polished finisher.
The 14″ Campagnolo Campanatura 38 magnesium alloy wheels are mounted with General Ulitmax tires manufactured in 2025. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension, a live rear axle, anti-roll bars, and KYB dampers. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The bucket seats were retrimmed in 2015 in Biscuit leather contrasted by a restored black dashboard and replacement black carpets. Appointments include a cabin heater, a wood shift knob, and power windows.
The wood-rimmed VG Hellebore steering wheel frames a Jaeger 8k-rpm tachometer and a replacement 85-mph speedometer. Auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are housed in the center stack. The replacement six-digit odometer shows 50k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The rebuilt 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was factory rated at 111 horsepower and 116 lb-ft of torque and features SPICA mechanical fuel injection, a Darstan long-tube header, and a custom exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler. Service since 2024 included changing the oil and replacing a fuel line as well as the ignition coil and spark plugs. The factory catalytic converter has been removed.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
