This 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX was acquired new by the seller in California, and it underwent a $14k engine build in August 2019. A turbocharged 2.5L flat-four IAG Stage 2 shortblock equipped with JE forged pistons and H-beam connecting rods was fitted along with Injector Dynamics 1050x fuel injectors, an AEM fuel pump, ARP hardware, a GrimmSpeed intercooler and piping, and an Invidia downpipe. The car is finished in Dark Gray Metallic over Carbon Black checkered cloth, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle that drives all four wheels through an Exedy clutch and an all-wheel-drive system. Further equipment includes 17″ Enkei alloy wheels, Tein lowering springs, Whiteline Performance sway bars, a hood scoop, automatic climate control, a Cobb short-throw shifter, a Pioneer head unit, and a custom audio system. This modified WRX has 71k miles and is now offered with a car cover, a build invoice, dynamometer test results, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Dark Gray Metallic (61K) and features a hood scoop, a rear spoiler, a rearview camera, flared fenders, body-color side mirrors, LED taillights, and a rear diffuser. The seller tells us that the third brake light does not work, and scratches and other imperfections are evident on various body panels.
Gunmetal-finished 17″ Enkei RPF1 wheels are wrapped in 245/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car rides on Tein lowering springs and KYB shocks, and Whiteline Performance 22mm sway bars have been installed. Braking is provided by ventilated front discs with dual-piston calipers and rear discs with single-piston calipers.
The front bucket seats and 60/40 split-folding rear bench are trimmed in Carbon Black checkered cloth. A Cobb short-throw shifter has been fitted, and appointments include automatic climate control, aluminum pedal covers, a touchscreen Pioneer head unit, and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier and 10″ subwoofer. The left rear door panel is cracked at the top.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer flanked by a 150-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for coolant temperature and fuel level. A Cobb Accesport device is stationed to the right of the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 71k miles.
The factory flat-four was removed, and a replacement turbocharged 2.5L flat-four IAG Performance Stage 2 shortblock was installed by YimiSport Tuning of Valencia, California, in August 2019.
